Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them. - Hebrews 7:25

Paul once said that if Christ was not raised from the dead, then he was (and we are) among all men, "most miserable."

Why? Because a dead Christ would make our faith useless. The eternality of the Savior is the foundation upon which the hope of our ultimate redemption lies and the promise that serves to undergird our ability to navigate the "here and now." We live because He lives.

Yes, Christ rose again for our salvation, but He also lives forever to secure that salvation unto glorification. "He always lives to intercede" for those who need saving, as well as for those who having been saved, lean upon His resurrection for assurance and hope.

We serve a risen Savior, but also a living one. We really can face tomorrow, because He lives.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. - Paul (1 Corinthians 15:22)
