In Christ, He Is Yours

For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and there was a fire inside the cloud by night, visible to the entire house of Israel throughout all the stages of their journey. - Exodus 40:38

Immediately after the Israelites completed the proscribed construction of the tabernacle, God's glory filled it in the form of a cloud. During the day, the cloud was easily visible and at night it literally shone. As recorded by Moses, it was "visible to the entire house of Israel (day and night) throughout all the stages of their journey."

We live in days of uncertainty. Either due to the access of worldwide information technology or an increase in crises, it seems a day does not pass without disaster, war, or eminent danger, somewhere. Even once-peaceful countries are in danger of dissolving into anarchy. Should we be concerned? Well, we may not know what is before us, but we can be certain that we are never alone.

Day and night, God is here. During the day, as Christ-followers we are protected from the burning attacks of our true enemy. During the night, He guides our way when the path is difficult or obscured. He will never abandon us. If it seems that we cannot see Him, it is simply because we have ceased to look.

Never forget. He is here and He will be there. He is everywhere because He is God and, in Christ, He is yours.
