To Him be the dominion forever. Amen. - 1 Peter 5:11

ree

I have never liked bullies and this "dislike" has not always been a good position to take considering the fact that I am not a big man. There is a sense of justice that makes me want to stand up to them. Again, not the smartest thing to do when you're a runt. Don't get me wrong, I didn't pick the fights. I just didn't run from them, which on a couple of occasions might have been the better idea.

Life, at times, can feel like a scrap, a fight. Injustice may even seem to rule the day, but in the heart of every Christ-follower there is a righteous, just standard that calls them to take a stand. No matter how small or insignificant you may feel, take it. Be full of grace and mercy, but take it. Your Father is all-powerful and He will reign as will (ultimately) all those who follow Him and persevere unto the end.

Forgiveness on the part of God always has a judicial basis, not an emotional basis, and represents an attitude of God based upon the satisfaction of His righteousness in some way. - John F. Walvoord
