Once upon a time a very popular and successful athlete had a life message. It was, "Just Do It!" Sadly, he "did it" and his reputation was destroyed along with his family.

I am convinced that the message of a person's life can also determine the direction that their life takes. The Apostle Paul told the citizens of Pisidian Antioch that one central truth was vital for their lives. This truth was that through Christ there is forgiveness of sins and salvation. The aging apostle believed that if a person accepted this truth, this message, for their life, then that person's life would be changed and take on a certain direction and focus.

If your life message is success, you will probably be successful but also aimless and lost. If your life message is to be popular, then you may be popular but also aimless and los if the message t. On the other hand, if the message of your life is Jesus and His Good News, you will never be aimless or lost, but you will truly live.
