Don't keep striving for what you should eat and what you should drink, don't be anxious.... But seek His kingdom, and these things will be provided for you. - Luke 12:29,31

In the course of our ministry, my wife and I have had to make many transitional moves (MS to NY, NY to IN, IN to PA, PA to West Africa, WA to PA, PA to GA, GA to CA, CA to PA, and PA to NJ ). While one might think that each move made the next one easier, they just never seemed to (at least from our perspective). We always left ministries and friends behind and these departures were often accompanied by a feeling of incompletion and loss. Of course, in each instance those thoughts were comingled with anticipation and excitement over the possibility of new friendships and opportunities to minister.
One thing is certain. Serving God will teach you to trust in His provision. Friends, food, finances, etc., must all be entrusted to an Almighty God (if you intend to serve Him) and soon you learn that He always provides for every need.
The only advice that seems to govern a like such as ours is that whatever you seek, always be sure to seek His Kingdom first.
There's a real powerful reason to play the Pharisee. Security! Pharisees don't have to rely on God for security. They never feel insecure. - John Burke
