Your Life's "Letter"

You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, recognized and read by everyone.... - 2 Corinthians 3:2

What is the goal of our service to God in Christ Jesus? Putting it simply, isn't it to glorify Him and change lives? It seems to me that if you choose to minister to someone, then two outcomes will probably occur: 1) the person's life will change and 2) so will yours.
Paul told the church at Corinth that they were a "letter" of recommendation that had been written on his heart, recognized and read by everyone. Because Paul (and his co-laborers) had ministered to the people of Corinth, their lives and the lives of the Corinthians had been changed forever. This change, as Paul said, was in fact being seen by everyone in the world.
For this reason, I appreciate the ministry I have been given. By it, I have been changed and by it, God has changed others. I am certain this can also be true for any Christ-follower, if he or she will simply join God where He is at work.
What will your life's "letter" be?
Self-praise is no recommendation. - English Proverb
