He Keeps Them All

I am now going the way of all the earth, and you know with all your heart and all your soul that none of the good promises YHWH your God made to you has failed. Everything was fulfilled for you; not one promise has failed. Since every good thing YHWH your God promised you has come about, so He will bring on you every bad thing until He has annihilated you from this good land YHWH your God has given you. - Joshua 23:14-15

Do you believe the promises of God?

You should. God's Word is rooted in His character and attributes; therefore, His Word is faithful and true, like Him. We should believe all of His promises even those that seem a little less favorable, because God's promises never fail.

God promises to bless those who obey Him (though this blessing may not be temporal). He also promises to curse those who disobey. He promises heaven and His reward to those who believe on His Son. He also promises eternity in a place called hell (with all the accompanying punishment) for those who reject him.

We cannot accept the promises of God that we like and just reject all the rest. He keeps them all.

And as the circumcised in the flesh, and not in the heart, have no part in God's good promises; even so they that be baptized in the flesh, and not in heart, have no part in Christ's blood. - William Tyndale
