Through Silvanus, whom I consider a faithful brother, I have written briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Take your stand in it! - 1 Peter 5:12

When I was a young man and went away to college, the internet obviously did not exist. And yes, color television did! Back then, handwritten letters from home were a blessing and were eagerly anticipated each and every single day, back "in the day."
When we were missionaries in Africa, things like e-mail, Skype, and Facebook allowed us to remain connected with family and friends almost on an hourly basis. While it was a tremendous blessing to receive notes and thoughts of encouragement from friends and loved ones, the true blessing was in the fact that each note, each response represented a potential intercessor.
Every person that brings you or me before the Father is a vital, integral part of the ministry, His ministry, and that is a gift!
No man can do me a truer kindness in this world than to pray for me. - Charles Spurgeon
